Am interiors are currently overseeing the refurbishment of Standard Bank House in St.Helier, Jersey. The recently rebranding of the South African firm to a 'private bank' has offered the opportunity to reflect this in the building's interior. In addition, AMi are also working with the bank's FM team to rationalise storage and increase spatial efficency by around 20%. This has been achieved by adopting centralised storage and facility points as well as introducing more appropriate desking to some areas. The works are being undertaken whilst the office is fully occupied and is achieved by using a decant area on the ground floor. This area will eventually become the 'Watering Hole', a mult-purpose space for staff meetings, breakout and seminars. The project is due for completion in May 2010.
