Axis Mason won four catergories at the Biennial Jersey Architecture Design Awards 2017, which recognise high quality design created and achieved by Jersey architects, designers and developers.

Hameau De La Mer Retirement Village was awarded the prize for Best Large Scale New Build Development and Best Landscape Project for an exceptional renovation of a previous brown field site. The project comprised of 54 age-restricted, mixed tenure retirement homes in St. Clement were designed to exceed the current  minimum size requirements by 10 per cent in addition to meeting stringent Life Long Homes legislation and guidance.

An extensive interiors fitout for IT firm Calligio was Highly Commended for Best Interior while 22 La Colomberie was commended for the Best Large Scale Refurbishment or Extension.

The competition was a joint enterprise between the Department of the Environment and the Association of Jersey Architects and was open to anyone who had delivered a project that had contributed positively to the built environment of Jersey.
