This high density residential development is divided into two blocks with a central courtyard providing an open amenity space. The buildings, although traditional in design to the main street elevation, become more informal within the site and this is reflected throughout the landscape design.

A high percentage of hard surface finishes allows flexibility in pedestrian movement within the site. A neutral palette of paving materials, including timber decking, creates a sense of space and encourages light into the courtyard.  The planting is restricted to raised planters, shaped to reflect the flow of the building. Architectural accent planting is combined with blocks of colour and texture to create a stimulating space from within and when viewed from above.
