The Liberty Wharf phase 2 development consists of the conversion of historic listed buildings into retail and restaurant spaces. The existing buildings will be carefully remodelled to maintain the integrity of these simple Jersey granite industrial structures. Contemporary interventions are inserted around the existing fabric to provide further retail spaces. Simple geometric volumes clad with translucent and opaque panels of glass are employed to provide a minimal and restrained response.
