After graduating from Manchester University in 1971, Andy gained 10 years wide-ranging experience in contracting and engineering. Since then, he has specialised in project and construction management and has provided a wide range of consultancy services, particularly procurement strategy and project audit, to a variety of private and public sector clients. He has personally managed “soft” management-change projects and IT projects as well as construction projects ranging from £3 million to £180 million in value.

 

Andy has also provided management consultancy services to a number of project management organisations and was appointed to set up and manage the project management organisations of two national consultancies before, in May 1995, he jointly established the Axis group of companies.

 

Axis, in 2001, acquired Mason Design Limited, an architectural practice based in Jersey, to form Axis Mason. As managing director, Andy co-ordinates the activities of the London, Jersey and Durban offices, but also provides consultancy services on particular projects.
