 Ian joined Axis Mason as a Director in June 2001, having previously worked for a number of practices in central Scotland on projects throughout the Central Belt and in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and London.

His professional experience encompasses a broad range of work in both the UK mainland and the Channel Islands, with a particular emphasis on commercial office, residential and mixed use projects. Ian is responsible for the design direction of all major projects undertaken by the company.

More recently, he has led a number of large scale commercial and mixed use projects undertaken by the practice in Jersey including, 13-14 Esplanade, 26 Esplanade, 11-12 Esplanade, Liberty Wharf, Spectrum Jersey, St Helier Waterfront Master-plan, L’Hermitage Development, Castle Quay Mixed Use Development and the JCG Re-development.

Ian has a detailed understanding and experience of the delivery of large scale commercial office developments which, with the benefit of a wide and varied professional experience, enables him to provide the company with confident and direct design leadership.
