ACTIU HQ VISIT
Our interiors team recently travelled to Alicante for a three-day visit to the headquarters of Spanish furniture manufacturer Actiu, alongside Style Office. The trip offered a packed and inspiring programme focused on design innovation, sustainability, and future-facing workspace solutions.
What stood out wasn’t just the impressive setting or the detailed schedule – it was Actiu’s deep-rooted belief that furniture and architecture can shape human experience. From thought-provoking conversations on neuroarchitecture to immersive sessions exploring virtual environments, every moment prompted reflection on how we design for wellbeing, collaboration and adaptability. The commitment to sustainability ran through everything, not as a bolt-on, but as a foundation – from the certifications they pursue to the way they speak about space and purpose.
Collaborating with researchers, embracing new technologies, and designing with empathy – it’s clear that Actiu isn’t just manufacturing furniture; they’re building frameworks for better working lives. The visit reinforced the power of bringing people together in environments that support health, connection and creativity.
