MIDVALE ROAD, PLANNING APPROVED

Located within a historic residential neighbourhood in St Helier, Midvale Road reimagines the former St John Ambulance site as seven new family homes.

Recently granted planning approval, the scheme has been carefully developed in response to the character of Midvale Road, drawing on the proportions, rhythm and materiality of the surrounding terraces while introducing a contemporary architectural language.

A key aspect of the proposal is the partial retention and extension of the existing building, reducing demolition and preserving embodied carbon wherever possible. The design also retains the mature Magnolia Grandiflora trees that contribute to the character of the street alongside new landscaping and shared amenity space for future residents.
