Having previously been split across three separate offices in St. Helier, First Names Group appointed Axis Mason to assist them with their relocation to the second floor of Gaspé House on St Helier’s waterfront. The state-of-the-art ‘Grade A’ office space seats all 400 staff in an acre of space across both east and west wings which benefit from fantastic natural light levels and largely uninterrupted open plan spaces.
It also includes an impressive client suite area featuring a variety of ‘named’ meeting rooms, client waiting areas and main reception. A sophisticated palette of materials was specified which reflected the organisation’s evolution over the past five years. Stained black oak timber, grey porcelain tiling, back-painted glass and crisp white Corian all contribute and give an elegant and fresh aesthetic.
The glass-walled south-west corner of the office is home to a sizeable beach-themed staff café, offering unrivalled bay views across the bay and sunshine. Numerous staff showers, changing facilities and a drying room are also available on the ground floor along with a large dedicated training room.
