ROYAL VISIT AT STRIVE

Axis Mason has had the pleasure of attending the royal visit at one of our most recent projects, Strive Academy. It was great fun to see the project complete and visited by HRH Princess Anne!

HRH Princess Anne visited to mark the formal opening and was taken on a tour of the building by Ben Harvey, the Managing Director of Strive, accompanied by staff members and dignitaries. During the visit HRH Princess Anne was also introduced to members of the British & Irish Lions Team who were using the facility in preparation for their tour to South Africa.

Branded ‘Strive’ by the elite professionals who have led the project, Strive Academy is set to be one of the top sports facilities in Europe. The scheme will provide a gateway for young people into the world of healthy living and competitive sport. As well as providing elite-level training facilities for the neighbouring rugby club. Amongst the 30+ members of staff which will be recruited locally, a plethora of experts in sports performance will make up the team covering nutrition, sports science, and psychology. Heavily subsidised coaching and medical services will be available, and free access for school children during the daytime will improve PE lessons.

We are excited to follow any future occasions such as these at Strive and are proud to have been part of the project.
