WINDSOR HOUSE IS NOW COMPLETE
The refurbishment of Windsor House is now complete!
Located in The Pollet, in central St Peter Port Guernsey, this tired 5 storey office needed a fresh, dynamic and funky look to attract new tenants. The property itself is located within an irregular triangular-shaped site but is well positioned between the main retail and professional service areas of town.
Windsor House has now been transformed from what was a dated, uninspiring and poorly serviced office building into a modern creative workspace. To satisfy the needs and wants of the landlord, who wanted to create a more ‘ flexible’ space to attract younger more innovative companies, we made sure to give the building a unique ‘urban’ identity and brand.
The main entrance area has been extended and enhanced using a double-height contemporary curtain walling system. Inside is an exciting entrance foyer with feature timber slatting which is also replicated upstairs in the stairwell and lift lobbies. A shared meeting room facility overlooks the main entrance whilst on the third floor, two roof terraces have been created that offer informal breakout areas with views out towards the island of Herm.
On the upper floors, the demised offices have been opened-up with the suspended ceilings removed giving these areas a feeling of space and light. Tenants including Altair, Belasko, Mayfair Casino and Torode Advocates now call this new exciting workspace home. A perfect place in which to pursue their adventures…
