Jersey-based finance firm Hawksford have had their workspaces refurbished to align with their new ‘how we work’ agenda. ‘The Office’ is now no longer seen as the only place in which to work from and is now becoming more of a hub or focal point of an organisation. On this basis, we concluded that creating an ‘Agile Working Environment’ would be the perfect solution for Hawksford. Flexibility, technology and collaboration are all key factors in an agile workspace and are all reflected in the design.
What we have created is a new work environment that is inspiring and vibrant; saying goodbye to the old ways of fluorescent lighting, monotonous grey furniture, finishes and cramped spaces, and saying hello to innovative light airy spaces and pops of vivid colour. Open plan areas include a variety of workstations, focus booths, collaboration zones and huddle pods allowing a variety of group tasks as well as individual working, giving the staff choice on how they would like to work.
There is a strong contemporary aesthetic throughout which subtly incorporates the Hawskford brand guidelines and ethos. Collaboration and Cooperation are both key messages, with ‘people’ being at the heart of the design. It was a pleasure to be a part of this project and to help Hawksford in evolving the next chapter of their future working environment.
