The Square Boutique Hotel is located in the centre of the newly developed La Lucia Ridge commercial district. The site benefited from unique planning criteria that allowed for the revitalisation of the existing building and the creation of the only hotel within the commercial precinct.

The architectural language of the hotel is one of simplicity and minimalism. It has crisp, elegant features expressed on its’ eastern and western facades that cement its’ prominence within the urban fabric of La Lucia Ridge. The use of low maintenance, high-quality materials underline its’ function as a leading four-star establishment in Durban.
