STANDARD CHARTERED BANK, JERSEY IS REFURBISHED!
Axis Mason have recently completed an exciting new workplace for Standard Chartered Bank in Jersey. Working with the client’s in house project team, we embarked on this project during the pandemic which gave our client the opportunity to embrace new working cultures. A major outcome of the project was the ability for SCB to reduce the amount of floor space they occupy which in turn has reduced their overheads.
Our design adopts new Agile Working practices which combine a variety of work settings such as Focused, Collaborative and Hybrid Working environments. A dynamic and vibrant colour palette gives identity to each floor which have been themed to reflect the major jurisdictions in which the bank operates. A stylish fifth floor roof café and external terrace area give the staff an envious social space in which they can eat, relax, collaborate and interact.
Staff wellbeing is a key principle in the bank’s philosophy, so with this in mind, we also introduced a variety of ancillary facilities such as showers, locker area and well-being room.
