Located on the northern side of Jersey airport, in St. Peter, the proposal replaced a run-down existing dwelling and a commercial workshop with two semi-detached homes. What used to be an outdated residence and out of place commercial workshop, is now two comfortable living spaces with accessible parking and sleek interiors. Each dwelling is provided with three parking spaces, a garden space, as well as a sunroom to the rear garden.
Having worked on several regeneration and housing projects, we are familiar with the needs and wants of our clients. We embrace the challenges by utilising our multi-disciplinary team and collaborative approach. Taking into consideration the wellbeing of the future residents, ecological and sustainable impact of our work and to enrich people’s lives.
Our architects and designers proposed a traditional style for the dwellings, so as not to distract the streetscape, but have made the dwellings contemporary in details and layout.
The houses, constructed by the developer client, utilise high quality materials and detailing. Both houses have ample family and living space, with an open-plan, flexible and adaptable ground floor, which is also capable of subdivision when the occasion demands. The upper floor accommodation includes four double bedrooms and three bathrooms.
Due to the proximity to the airport all the windows have specialist acoustic glass to ensure that the external noise does not impact levels of internal comfort in the house.
Car and bike charging points have been installed to ensure EV options are ready to use for future residents.
This project was done for Style Group with A C Mauger as the contractor.
