We seamlessly combined our Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape teams to offer a holistic and coordinated design solution for Maison des Landes. Run as a charitable trust by The Lions club Jersey, Maison des Landes combines the atmosphere of a modern hotel with the very latest facilities for people with disabilities, their carers and those, seeking respite breaks.
Maison des Landes has 23 specially equipped rooms, each tailored to individual needs. The property features a 40-seat dining room with an outdoor barbecue area, a spacious lounge, and an adjacent orangery. The community hub, a new social space and meeting place, is an inclusive facility for Jersey’s elderly and people with disabilities. Guests can enjoy the refreshed hydrotherapy pool and wellness room. The newly laid-out gardens offer beautiful views, large patio areas with accessible pathways, a putting green and a multi-use games area.
A relaxing and enriching experience for locals and visitors alike.
“From a personal perspective, it was a pleasure to work with the Lions Club Jersey to provide this stunning retreat for individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Collaborating with the contractor and design team, we rejuvenated what was a tired and dated hotel into what is now a truly remarkable facility. Every detail, from room layouts to materials, was carefully considered for easy navigation and comfort. Maison des Landes is not just a hotel; it’s a vibrant social space that encourages inclusivity and gatherings for all ages. This project is a testament to the transformative power of design, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.” – Reise Bore, Interior Designer
