Leading international bank and wealth manager Investec appointed Axis Mason to assist in the relocation of their growing Jersey team to a flexible new workspace at Liberation House in St Helier. 

A key focus for the client was create a modern, agile working environment that would promote the well-being of their team and express their business values of trust, responsibility and integrity. The result is a mix of open, collaborative workspaces and a sophisticated, state-of-the-art client suite that provide a range of shared, and task focussed settings for clients and colleagues. 

The design approach optimises the location and outlook of the building with spectacular views out and an abundance of natural light permeating the open plan work-settings and ‘pause area’ where the team can congregate during downtime or client entertaining. Key features include height-adjustable workstations throughout, integrated biophilia and stunning artwork from local artist Hazel Wynn. The works included fully refurbished staff welfare facilities, and new showers, changing rooms lockers and drying areas to promote active travel and encourage health and wellbeing. 

The ADAPTIVE RE-USE of this existing office space creates a positive, uplifting working environment that promotes the values and ambitions of this forward-thinking business and their team.
