Maison Des Landes is a modern hotel designed especially for people with disabilities. It provides INCLUSIVE, social spaces and a community meeting place that is accessible to all, to create an enriching and relaxing experience in an environment designed specifically around people’s needs.
Working closely with charitable trust, The Lions Club of Jersey, our architecture, interior design and landscape teams, provided a holistic, coordinated design that combines the fresh, relaxing atmosphere of a modern hotel with a practical, accessible community hub where Jersey based community groups, disability organisations, charities and Jersey residents of all ages can gather to enjoy lunch, entertainment and indoor and outdoor activities,
The building features 23 specially equipped rooms, each tailored to individual needs, a 40-seat dining room with an outdoor eating area, a spacious lounge, and an adjacent orangery. The community hub is an inclusive facility for the elderly and people with disabilities where guests can enjoy the refreshed hydrotherapy pool and wellness room. And the newly laid-out gardens offer beautiful coastal views, large patio areas with accessible pathways, a putting green and a multi-use games area; a project focussed on ADAPTIVE RE-USE that is a testament to the transformative power of design.
