Sommerville House was conceived as a new creative and cultural hub aptly located in the north of the towns exciting regeneration area. It is a multi-tenanted building hosting three creative companies, covering the disciplines of architecture, art, engineering and creative technology.
The interiors have been designed to present a cohesive, whole identity whilst expressing the individual culture and aspirations of the different operations they house. Materials chosen for use for the fit-out were selected to demonstrate versatility of application and unexpected appropriations.
In 2023, our Jersey studio underwent a significant refresh, enhancing both our workspace and culture. In collaboration with Style Office, we introduced a flexible mix of sit-stand and standard desks, supporting a dynamic hotdesking system that promotes comfort and efficiency. We also added four focus pods for individual work, personal lockers to keep the space organised, and designated collaboration zones for team meetings and creative exchanges.
A standout feature is the installation of Milliken carpets from the Northern Soul collection, revitalising the studio with a blend of bold and subtle tones.
