Location – St. Sampson, Guernsey

The Leale’s Yard development site straddles the parishes of St. Sampson and Vale, west of The Bridge and St. Sampson Harbour. It is bound on all sides by existing properties, some residential and others of an industrial nature.

This proposal aims to create a new public square, which will act as the primary focal point to the development. The scheme comprises of 13 blocks with a mix of apartments, houses and commercial units at street level.  Car parking is provided at street level and underground. The mix of unit sizes suit a variety of needs and types of residents, while the location provides an ideal background for a comfortable urban living close to amenities. Views and vistas created are terminated with enhancement of landscape, art and building facades. A further opportunity exists to create a linear park acting as a residential amenity on the western edge of the development and improving the permeability of the site.
