This major new mixed-use project on the northern edge of the historic city of Kalisz in central Poland will see the REGENERATION of over 7 ½ acres of brownfield land, bringing significant investment and urban renewal to a key post-industrial site and extending the activity and vitality of the city centre to the Kanał Bernardyński.
The scheme comprises a of series office pavilions and a hotel, set within a new pedestrian-focussed landscape of connected green spaces linked by a new footbridge over the canal to the northern area of the city centre and a soon-to-be constructed bus station for the neighbourhood.
The key design aim for the scheme is to establish a coherent identity whilst enabling individuality and allow the various uses and occupiers to express themselves. This is managed through a clearly defined design code and by embedding the scheme within a HOLISTIC landscape setting that will create a distinct sense of place and character.
