My name isn’t actually Ian! Don’t ask…..it’s a Scottish thing! In my role as MD, I get to sprinkle some stardust occasionally but mainly, it’s just about learning how to lead better. Positive, optimistic people who want to succeed no matter where they’re starting from inspire me the most. When I’m not doing this, I’m cheat cycling on my e-bike, over-complicating my next diy project or just reading a good book.

Martin Bridge

Director

I have been with Axis Mason in Jersey since 2004 and thrive on the challenges presented by our diverse range of projects, varying in size and across a variety of sectors. When not working, you'll often find me doing Lego “with my son”. Something you may not know about me? I scored from the halfway line in the Paisley and District under 18s cup final (1991) – still the single greatest achievement of my life to date.

Alick Roberts

I have been part of the Axis Mason team in our London studio since 2003. It has been a greatly rewarding journey to help develop and nurture the business into a family of international studios that seek to enrich people’s lives through design. A constantly evolving group of people and projects keep each year challenging and rewarding. When not working I love to run the Oxfordshire trails with my dog Chester and enjoy a pub lunch with family.

Malcolm Pitt

I have been fortunate enough to experience life working in 3 of our studios across the globe, and over the years I have seen our company culture transform and evolve. Being part of the leadership team promoting strategic change and self awareness motivates me more than anything else. When I’m not working, you might find me chasing ocean swell, competing on court, or simply looking for my next big challenge!

Mark Coppins

I moved from our London studio to Jersey in 2005 for a slower pace of life. It hasn’t worked out like that as the interior team has grown from strength to strength! When not at work I enjoy socialising, walking on some of Jersey’s many fine beaches with my wee dog Skye and also sampling the odd glass (or two) of red wine!

Jenny Dunseath-Franklin

I love my diverse role at Axis Mason. It’s very fulfilling and I most enjoy the people & culture aspect of our business and I am fortunate to be in touch with all of our fantastic team across all our Studio’s. When I'm not working, you will find me walking my Doberman on the beach, or coming up with ridiculous interior designs for our house.

Martin Dunseath-Franklin

My father, who is a retired Architect, actively discouraged me from following in his footsteps, which I found rather confusing at the age of 16. I think he thought there were other professions that might be more financially lucrative! Anyway, I’m glad I ignored him because I can’t think of many things I would rather be doing, as there’s nothing quite like building new stuff for people, as well as looking after buildings that exist already, and I’m still saying that 34 years in!

Darius Coertse

Self-confessed architectural enthusiast, sports fan and hooked on knowledge through books. Every morning commuting to studio I realise the great responsibility that has been bestowed on architects to improve the communities around us.

Yawar Shahzad

I participate in projects across various sectors and AM studios, relishing engaging and challenging opportunities that require a creative design response. I believe design is at the heart of everything we do; it should be explored, encouraged, and nurtured to ensure the best solutions are applied to all our projects. Outside of work, I dedicate most of my spare time to managing and coaching my son's football team.

Anne-Marie Benson

I thoroughly enjoy the diverse range of projects that our Interiors team is privileged to work on, meeting new clients who often become friends, and creating amazing environments for them to thrive in. I joined Axis Mason Jersey Studio in 2017, having moved from Ireland to enjoy a better work-life balance with my family and of course, the sunnier weather is most welcome. When not in the studio or travelling, I like to relax and unwind by the sea, enjoying great food & wine with friends.

Paul Minter

I joined Axis Mason in 2015, coinciding with my move to London. I've enjoyed working on a diverse range of projects and challenges in both the UK and the Channel Islands, with a particular emphasis on later living. Outside of work, my interests include participating in and watching sports, traveling to new places, and spending time with friends and family. You can often find me in sunny Brighton, watching football, enjoying coffee, or fending off seagulls on the beach.

Lejla Cilliers

Not many people know I have been with the company for over 20 years. I am a mummy to 2 beautiful dogs - mini schnauzer called Coco and a working cocker spaniel called Skye. And I do lots of long walks with them. In the evenings you’ll find me watching football and rugby, drinking lots of good wine!

Chris Reardon

After nearly 9 gap years in London and 13 years architecting in South Africa, I rather suddenly found myself joining Axis Mason in 2019. I enjoy the diverse people and projects I’m involved with and still marvel at working in a whole other country. I like to find creative solutions, architecture and life provide plenty of opportunities for that. Ex studio - I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, coaching/playing water polo (badly), reading and gardening.

Camila Martinez-Lisle

Originally from Canada, I moved to London to embark on a new adventure with the Axis Mason team. As a Landscape Architect, I believe we can create authentic environments for communities to engage in, while pushing the boundaries of our field. In my spare time, you can find me cycling long distances, finding inspiration in the many green spaces the city and its surroundings has to offer.

Vibhushan Moodley

Most people know me as Vibs, I started my journey with Axis Mason at the Durban Studio in 2017 before moving to London in 2019. Residential architecture is my passion - I believe the devil really is in the details - that is never more in focus than on private residential projects. I love a challenge and enjoy collaborating to find the best possible solutions. Outside of Architecture, I enjoy Landscape photography, and watching or playing sport.

Morgan Anderson

I joined the Axis Mason London team in January 2025 after completing my Master of Architecture (MArch) at the University of Westminster. As an aspiring architect, I’m excited to explore bold ideas, learn from talented colleagues, and continue to grow professionally within a supportive studio environment. Outside of work, I enjoy watching rugby, going to live music events, and catching up with friends over a few beers.

Michael Blumrick

The possibility of creating spaces to enrich a human’s experience through architecture inspires me and I am excited to be part of the Axis Mason team that allow these opportunities to manifest. I’m otherwise kept busy jolling with my beautiful family, beaching, riding, walking, seeing – fully doing & loving life with them. In my ’me’ time, I like to smash a ball around a squash court (and of course a few coldies after).

Since joining Axis Mason in 2017 as a Presentation Designer my journey has been driven by a passion for turning concepts into visually engaging presentations. I specialise in distilling information into impactful visuals, ensuring resonance with our audiences. I take pride in my strong work ethic and enjoy streamlining processes and ensuring seamless operations behind the scenes. Nicole Callaghan

I joined Axis Mason in 2019 as an Architect, and now with over a decade in practice, it’s only natural that a coffee and a challenge - the dynamic duo - have become my primary fuel source. I love what we do and find beauty in simplicity. With extensive experience of managing projects from inception through to completion, I bring a pragmatic, all-inclusive approach to design. A people-first approach and a sharp eye for detail are my bread & butter.

Vesna Carnegie

I have been part of the Axis Mason Jersey Studio since 2015. I knew I wanted to be an architect from the age of 10 - inspired by my aunty who was an architectural technician. A perfectionist like myself could not have chosen better, I enjoy it immensely. Every project is different, challenges change and no day at work is the same. In my downtime, I love sitting by the beach with a favourite book and a coffee.

Macy-Jane Chapron

I joined Axis Mason in 2025 as an Architectural Assistant after completing my Part I degree in Bath. I’m passionate about creating visually engaging architecture grounded in collaborative design that connects people, place, and the environment. Outside of work, I enjoy painting, spending time with friends and family, and traveling, which continues to shape my appreciation of how culture and context influence the way we design and experience space.

Kyle Coleman

I joined the Axis Mason Durban Team in 2015 and it has been an awesome journey ever since. I enjoy the wide variety of projects we are exposed to, each with its own sets of challenges to resolve and obstacles to overcome. This has provided an exciting work environment with constant room for growth. When I am not working I enjoy exploring the South African coastline, going for runs along the promenade, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Santiago Diez del Pino

What I enjoy most about my role is the daily encounter with new challenges and the satisfaction of resolving them by day's end. My primary inspiration is contributing to projects with enduring impact, loved and lived with over time. Outside of work, I'm deeply passionate about football and enjoy watching matches with a cold beer. Given the chance, I explore new destinations across England in my free time.

Adam Elliott

I have been with Axis Mason since 2014 and have enjoyed every moment. Now a proud BCO NextGen member I have developed a keen interest in office design and construction which I have put into practice on the various commercial jobs I have worked on. Maintaining high quality in draftsmanship and hitting deadlines keeps me motivated as well as striving to continue my learning and development.

I joined Axis Mason in 2025 after completing my master’s degree at the University of Plymouth. I’m passionate about designing spaces that connect people and place, shaped by a growing interest in how environments influence everyday life. Returning to Jersey has given me the chance to turn my love for the island into practical design work, drawing on a strong personal connection. Outside the studio, I enjoy being outdoors, exploring Jersey’s landscapes or new places further afield.

Ignacio Gubianas Blanes

Born in sunny Barcelona, after living in five different cities I moved to London to join the Axis Mason team. As a landscape architect, I am passionate about creating outdoor spaces that focus on people and making our cities more liveable. In my free time, I like exploring London's dance floors, going on cycle rides and catching planes to get away from British weather.

Molly Harper

I joined Axis Mason in 2025 after graduating from Arts University Bournemouth. As part of the interiors team, I’ve really enjoyed gaining insight into the full design process from being involved at the early stages to collaborating with clients and working closely with my colleagues. Outside of work, I love cooking and spending time with friends and family. I’m excited to continue building my experience at Axis Mason and to learn from the talented team around me.

Amy Hatch

I am an adventurous person who is always up for a new challenge. I am privileged to work with such a diverse team who challenge each other and encourage growth and learning. I am inspired by simple yet beautiful things and love to figure out how things work. When I’m not at work you can find me going on adventures with my family and doing fun activities with my kids.

Dafydd Knops

Originally from Bristol, I moved to Glasgow to study Architectural Conservation and discovered a particular interest in the history and decision-making embedded in buildings. I’m drawn to understanding not just the components of construction, but the reasons behind them. I joined Axis Mason in 2025 to further develop my technical approach and detailing knowledge. When I’m not in the studio, I’m likely bouldering or working on calisthenics progressions.

Natalie Moxham

Hello, I'm Natalie. In my mind, it is the responsibility of architects to promote social responsibility and unite individuals through design. I appreciate working for a practice that prioritizes the people it employs, and I think our work demonstrates this accomplishment. To effectively oversee spatial interventions in the future, I'm continuously challenging myself to broaden my skill set. Aside from architecture, I enjoy travelling to different locations and engaging with the people who inhabit them.

Yegasan Naicker

I joined the Axis Mason Durban team in 2016 and 3 years later relocated to the UK with my family to continue my professional journey in London. Working within both the Architectural and Interiors teams, my passion for art & design makes my role naturally enjoyable. During my downtime you’ll often find me rowing along the River Medway, taking a road trip to a nearby town with my family, enjoying a few drinks with good company or in the kitchen trying out a new recipe.

Nicola O’Connell

Working at Axis Mason has proven to be a fulfilling journey, thanks to the diverse spectrum of clients we work with. My expertise in commercial office interior design fuels my passion for transforming workspaces into vibrant hubs of efficiency and innovation. In my spare time, you’ll either find me socialising with friends, watching football or with a flask of Yorkshire tea on the beach, as I love spending time outdoors.

Casey Parsons

I joined Axis Mason in 2016 and I've stuck around ever since, culminating in my progression to architect in 2023. What I appreciate most about the role is the variety, creativity and exploration that each day offers. It's the sort of role that's constantly evolving and always eventful. Away from the office, I enjoy exploring the historical hotspots of the UK and beyond, experiencing the cultural shifts it provides and drawing on them as a source of inspiration.

Cara Smith

I joined Axis Mason in September 2025 after completing my BSc at Cardiff University. I'm drawn to sustainable spaces, shaped by detail and craft, with my favourite architect being Carlo Scarpa. Beyond architecture, I spend my time oil painting, drawing, sketching and sewing. And when I'm not immersed in my creative hobbies, I love exploring, travelling and hosting.

Martin Smith

I came to Jersey in 2004 so I have committed the majority of my career to designing buildings on the island at all stages, from feasibility to completion, across a broad range of sectors. My aim is to do the best job I can for the client, user and wider environment which often requires a lot of very hard work and determination to make a project a success. Not much will distract me from the task at hand! Local sport, music, travel and DIY fills my spare time.

Jake Stamp

Originally from Aberdeen, I journeyed to Glasgow in 2022 for work after my graduation. Possessing a zest for life and creativity, “I am seeking, I am striving, I am in it with all my heart” -A.W. by continuing my journey and joining Axis Mason after 3 years' experience as an Architectural Assistant. Career aside, my passions include gaming, playing guitar, pop-punk and playing lawn bowls in the summer.

Paul Timbane

I joined Axis Mason in 2024 after working on various projects in South Africa and internationally, mainly in the MENA region. I enjoy collaborating with diverse individuals on diverse projects and seeing all the hard work pay off. Detail-oriented and curious, I take pride in problem-solving within the technical field. Outside of work, I spend quality time with family, beat making on FL Studio, and enjoy the great outdoors.

Roard van Staden

I joined Axis Mason in 2024, driven by a passion for the fusion of aesthetics and structure, honed through six years of academic growth. For me, architecture is a journey of self-discovery, inspiring continuous learning and the creation of designs that enrich lives and foster connection. Outside of work, I enjoy exercising to fuel my drive for self-improvement and spending quality time with family and friends through outdoor activities.

Megan Vidler

I joined the Interiors team at Axis Mason in September 2025 after completing my Architecture degree at Loughborough University and gaining two years of experience as an Architectural Assistant. I’m excited to transition into interiors, contribute to a diverse range of projects, and further develop my passion for interior design. Outside of work, I enjoy running, reading, and walking my dog on the beach.

I value designs that craft meaningful spaces for people through sustainable placemaking and intentional structure. Katy Wolfe

In my role as Communications Coordinator, I'm committed to highlighting the stories behind our projects, successes, and the remarkable people I get to work alongside. I moved to Jersey in 2021, transitioning from the hustle of London to embrace a calmer, more balanced lifestyle. Beyond work, I'm happiest when strolling on the beach, spending time with friends and family, or in a comfy spot with a book.

Sarah Woolf

I became part of the Interiors team in September 2024, after earning my degree in Interior Architecture and Design from The Arts University Bournemouth. I am passionate about the entire design process, from initial concept through to final completion, and I enjoying creating spaces that blend functionality with aesthetics. I’m excited to keep growing and refining my skills as I progress in my career. Outside of work, I love walking my dogs, staying active, cooking, and spending quality time with friends and family.
